Perfect spot for a few days stay in Lymington. I was staying for a wedding and the apartment provided a very comfortable and convenient base just a few minutes walk from the high street. I loved the small touches like the fresh milk in the fridge and the welcome basket. The apartment was immaculate and well kitted out for a much longer stay. Check in and communication was also super clear and easy.

This was my second stay at Avocet, my partner was unwell first time round and couldn’t come and this time we had a lovely stay together. Great location for town, rail, bus and ferry links. Lovely decor, very comfortable, all amenities taken care of and very quiet at night. Good communication and booking experience with New Forest escapes

We have been coming to Lymington for a few years to attend 'Simply Porsche' at Beaulieu, and this is the nicest accommodation we've stayed at. Loved the style of the flat and its location is perfect. Would recommend 'Lanes' for fine dining and also Tapas night at 'The Larder' which was really nice. Many thanks!

We have enjoyed our stay in Lymington very much and pleasantly surprised by the comfort and facilities in Avocet. Nice welcome basket and a very clean apartment. We can recommend The Haven in Lymington Marina for good food and interesting views – also the walk towards Hurst Castle. We visit this area most years and love the area @ Lepe, Bucklers Hard and Beaulieu. Thank you

Stayed for 2 nights, had a great stay. Flat is in a great position & well equipped. Ate at the Angel & Kings Head, would recommend both.

We visited Lymington several times and discovering Avocet at the end of this stay felt like a perfect find. It had everything we needed at this point of our trip: spacious, clean, cozy, and well equipped. We especially appreciated the thoughtful details in the kitchen – colourful cups, sharp knives, and pans and skillets in perfect condition – which made our mornings feel easy and enjoyable. The location is ideal, with close proximity to the sea, shops, restaurants, and bus stop, making everything effortlessly accessible. If you go for a coastal walk to Milford on Sea (highly recommend) stop to enjoy almond and blackcurrant pastry at Bakehouse 24. Also, the Ship Inn & The Elderflower were our favorites for both lunch and dinner. My partner especially enjoyed the breakfast at Stanwell. We are leaving feeling rested and truly content with our stay. Thank you for having us.

An Easter weekend break – accommodation is very comfortable and well appointed being close to Lymington town centre. I know the area well and have family nearby so it was great to be independent whilst joining in family events. Would definitely choose to come back and stay here. Thank you.

We have enjoyed our stay in this comfy accommodation. Thank you for the welcome gifts and the parking clock is really useful. Favourite places to visit, apart from Lymington, were the New Forest Wildlife Park and walk along the waterfront from Keyhaven back to Lymington, where we saw lots of wildlife including many avocets. Favourite pub is the Ship. Eat Pizza is good for pasta and pizza.

Great place to stay, airy big space open plan and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very well situated and close to the high street with some great pubs and restaurants to eat. Thanks Blake.

We stayed for 2 nights. Found the flat to be great and above our expectations. Everything here that we needed. Great location. Bike rack outside was a bonus. Ate at the Ship Inn and The Kings Head – recommend both. We will definitely be returning.

We had a great couple of days in Lymington. Avocet is in a fantastic location. Minutes walk into town where there are some lovely shops and restaurants. We can recommend eating at the Angel and Blue Pig and for something different Huddle was fab. Definitely worth checking out their happy hour! Avocet was lovely and clean, comfortable bed and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend a stay!

Excellent location. Avocet felt spacious and was well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Storage is good. This was our second stay at Avocet and we were equally impressed as when we first stayed.

We said we would be back and we meant it. This is our 4th stay in Lymington and our 2nd stay at Avocet. Yet again, we found everything to be just perfect for our 3 night stay. We love the apartment and all the little touches. Thank you for another lovely stay. I am sure we will be back!

Thank you for a cute stay for our 10 year anniversary! It was a lovely base for our explorations in the New Forest. Highly recommend the Wildlife Park, we had a lot of fun with the noisy otters!

Absolutely ideal place to base yourself for exploring the New Forest. Even better to just tootle down to Lymington itself. Brought our bikes down so having the cycle rack outside was a bonus. Electric vehicle users no need to worry as fast charger just around the corner in the second car park around the corner a minute away and other chargers all around the town. Only downer is a 4pm access time, waste of a day.

5 stars. Brilliant place to come and stay! Extremely clean and comfortable, nice and close to the high street.

A very lovely apartment with everything you need to enjoy your break. Ideally located a few short steps from the high street on the ground floor makes this perfect for anyone with mobility issues. Some occasional noise from passing pedestrians as the bedroom window is right next to the pavement, but generally not an issue unless a very light sleeper. Had a small problem with the heating but this was highlighted and sorted by the owner so shouldn't be a reoccurring issue. The parking clock is a great asset though confusing what you have to do after the time expires. Tourist information didn't make things any clearer. I just kept going back to my car and changing the time, I was either lucky, or this is an acceptable thing to do. A phone call to the local council could clarify this I guess. I would return in a heartbeat, and am already thinking about the nicer weather to do so. Enjoy. We did!

We have stayed for 2 weeks. One week warm, second week, v.v. cold. We have really enjoyed the holiday in a lovely central apartment. The best thing has been the parking clock... we have visited all the car parks on the clock. Each had beautiful views and we have watched lots of sunsets. Thanks.

Brilliant stay – weather was kind so we could get out & browse the shops & go for walks. Avocet is very comfortable with everything you need to make your stay chilled. Tried out Kings Head, Ship, Pig & Haven – all excellent, we'll be back!

Avocet is a stylish apartment in the perfect location, everything was clean and comfortable. We had a lovely weekend break and would certainty recommend a stay there.

A fantastic short break - The apartment was excellent and in a great location. You could walk to the High Street where there are lots of cafes and pubs to choose from.

This was a lovely flat that we enjoyed staying in for 4 nights! Thank you! Great location! The flat was spotless, stylishly decorated, and equipped with everything you could need. A thoughtful welcome pack with some treats was provided, and the fresh milk was a lovely bonus. There was also coffee, tea, and sugar available. The bathroom and bedroom were beautiful and spacious.

We stayed here whilst visiting family who live nearby. The location was excellent. Easy walking distance from shops, supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. We particularly liked The Kings Head and the White Hart where the food was excellent. The apartment was comfortable, well equipped and spotless.

Lovely apartment near the centre of Lymington. The location was ideal for the High Street with its many shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. It was also not far from the marinas and walks around the marshes. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed in it.

We recommend The Ship Inn for eating (especially the seabass) and the Kings Head. A walk along the solent way to Keyhaven and Hurst Castle makes a great day out.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. This has been the perfect base for exploring the area and for a departure point for the Isle of Wight. A very friendly community! The market on Saturday had such a great range of stalls, especially the 'Vegan Baker'! We had a great breakfast at The Haven, amazing views of the yachts. Also recommend the vineyard cafe and farm shop near Brockenhurst. Looking forward to our return visit!

What a beautiful place to stay. New Forest Escapes have been very helpful and we will use their properties in the future as a results and return to Avocet. As a non driver its very convenient for trains and buses. I took the train to Brockenhurst for New Forest walking, a day trip to the Isle of Wight as a foot passenger & walks to Keyhaven. I have had an amazing time, i rate my stay 10/10!

Had a lovely two night stay. Ate and drank at The Ship Inn (lovely), drank in the Motorcycle Club (great sofas), best breakfast at The Larder! Great location, very convenient for everything!

We had a lovely short break in Avocet, enjoying the last of the summer. We visited Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. As recommended The Haven was excellent place for a drink in the sunshine. We also ate Tapas at Briso and had a really enjoyable meal at 'Eat Pizza'. Flat is exceptionally comfortable, clean and so convenient for the town.

What a lovely property for two in a fantastic location. Central to Lymington high street, just a 1 minute walk away and only a 15 minute drive from the beach. Perfect!
